Roughly 2600 people are without power at this hour in Knightdale, according to Progress Energy. Public Safety officials tell NBC17 news that the outage is the result of a truck hitting a power pole near the intersection of 1st Avenue and Knightdale Road. Power crews are on the way to the scene.
