Truck snaps wire, causes fire, power outage

Fenton Township Fire Chief Ryan Volz said his department responded to Petts Road at 1:02 p.m. Fenton Fire Department assisted. A caller reported that a large truck caught a tension wire causing it to snap in two pieces. One end of the wire became tangled in a live utility wire causing a spark for the half-acre grass fire.
