WEST MICHIGAN (NEWSCHANNEL 3) â€" Enbridge Energy is putting in a new pipeline through Calhoun, Cass and St. Joseph counties. The pipeline will replace part of the old line known as 6B. That's the same line that ruptured in Marshall in July of 2010.

Appeal filed on proposed Cummings Valley solar project

Recurrent Energy has filed an appeal of the proposed conditional use permit that was turned down on Nov. 10 by the Kern County Planning Department. The permit is to allow for construction and operation of a 20-megawatt photovoltaic solar energy generation facility. The project’s proposed location is southwest of Highline and Bailey roads in the Cummings Valley.
