The grant program announced Monday by the Mesa County Federal Mineral Lease District board is an innovative means of using money from regional mineral development to help improve the economic outlook for this community. The fact that the group is specifically looking for grant applications for projects that will help Mesa County become an “epicenter for energy innovation” is particularly welcome.

Sorry, can't help ya. I have no problem with anybody making money, when they provide a commodity, finished good or service that people need or desire. Business exists to increase the quality of human existence, and when corporations do that successfully, they deserve to profit. I just want them to pay taxes on their earnings, so as to pay for the education, energy, information and transportation ...
