The North Platte Telegraph Martin Cordes rides his bike to work at Saint Patrick's Catholic School on a regular basis to conserve energy, and he was riding on his way to work Tuesday morning when he was hit by a truck on E Street near St. Patrick's High School. Cordes was taken to Great Plains Regional Medical Center and flown to Denver.
