US gov't says supplies of oil, gasoline and distillates increased last week

NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Energy Department said Wednesday that the United States' crude oil and gasoline supplies rose last week. Crude supplies grew by 1.9 million barrels, or 0.6 percentage point, to 345.1 million barrels for the week ended Feb. 4. The total was 4.1 per cent more than a year ago.
