Windsor Locks school installs ambitious solar project

WINDSOR LOCKS â€" The installation of 1,000 solar panels on the new roof of the North Street School is under way, and when they’re all in place by the end of February â€" weather permitting â€" the school will begin to save an estimated $5,000 a year on energy for the next 25 years.
