Renewable Energy Asia up on wind farm deal

Shares of Renewable Energy Asia Group (REAG.SI), a Singapore-listed wind power generation firm, rose as much as 4.5% on Friday after it said it had secured a concession to jointly develop a wind farm in China’s Haimen City for 500 million yuan ($97.3 million). Journalists can lose their privilege to shield notes and film from others' scrutiny if they fail to maintain their independence, an appeals court said Thursday as it upheld a judge's decision to force a filmmaker to release outtakes from his documentary about a legal dispute between energy company Chevron and Ecuadoreans.
