Petrohawk Sells Fayetteville Shale Play to Exxon Subsidiary

Falling prices for natural gas have led Petrohawk Energy to sell its Fayetteville Shale interests to a subsidiary of Exxon. Houston-based Petrohawk announced the completed deal with XTO Energy yesterday, saying the sale price was 575-million dollars. |
