UPDATE: Power outage affecting Bozeman's west end

About 4,500 NorthWestern Energy customers in Bozeman are without power tonight. Power went out on Bozeman's west end at about 8:45 p.m., according to NorthWestern Energy spokesperson Claudia Rapkoch. Rapkoch said she could not narrow down the area that the outage is affecting.

As of 11:20 p.m., power has been restored to most of the 4,500 Bozeman residents who were left in the dark Tuesday night. By midnight, the rest of the NorthWestern Energy customers that were affected were expected to have service restored, NorthWestern Energy spokesperson Claudia Rapkoch said.
