When EPA announced on Oct.13 that the waiver application for E15 requested by Growth Energy and 52 ethanol manufactures would be granted, mass confusion ensued. Model year vehicles 2007 and newer are now permitted to use E15. Vehicles built between 2001 and 2006 will likely be approved to gulp down E15 by the end of the calendar year. |
