NRG sells $1.1 billion in senior notes

(AP:PRINCETON, N.J.) NRG Energy Inc. said Friday it has completed the sale of $1.1 billion in senior notes. The Princeton, N.J., energy company said previously it would use the proceeds to repay debt and for general purposes.
