Energy plant site chosen

Schneider -- A company has picked a rural site in Northwest Indiana for its $285 million plant that would turn trash into ethanol. Powers Energy of America CEO Earl Powers says his company is buying 275 acres in southern Lake County for the plant. Powers hopes to start construction next spring. (AP) |
